Irmgard Mae York, 55, born on July 9, 1959, went to be with our Lord & Savior on Oct. 3, 2014. Mae was a 1977 graduate of Wiesbaden High School in Germany. She completed her bachelor's degree at Texas State, also attending Texas Wesleyan Law School. Mae worked in the corporate offices of Allsup's in Clovis, NM before spending the majority of her professional career working for the United States Government in Civil Service. She also worked for ACS Network Inc., in San Antonio. Mae was a very caring & loving daughter, sister, aunt & friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph E. York III. Survivors include her loving mother Irmgard G. York, brothers Joseph E.York IV, Frank York and John York, numerous nephews, nieces and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South. Oh Irma, what a wonderful daughter you had! The special closeness you two shared would be envied by any mother. These cherished memories will be a comfort to you. Time is the only thing that will ease the pain, but knowing that she is with our Lord will help carry you through.
